Recently departed Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, has threatened to make the national team get banned from 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers if Mengo does not clear his arrears.

Micho now coach of South Africa’s Orlando Pirates on Monday issued an ultimatum to Fufa pay his Shs194 million (US$54,000) debt before the team’s next qualifier when they host seven time African champions Egypt on August 31st before the return leg on September 5th in the return leg in Alexandria

“Through my agent Ivica Stankovic we have written to the Uganda FA to effect this payment as quickly as possible. They will need to pay before World Cup qualifiers or risk expulsion from the qualifiers,” stated Sredojevic.

Micho last week said that the debt must be paid quickly because that is his blood and sweat. “So every coin purely deserved and properly earned,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Serbian first game at the club since his return to the Buccaneers last week also had Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Jjuko play his first trial game in South Africa on Sunday.

The centreback who is on trials with Premier Soccer League giants, made his first appearance for the side in a friendly game against Platinum Stars.

Orlando Pirates put up a great display to cruise to a comfortable 6-1 victory over the Dikwenas.
