Uganda international forward Hamisi Deigo Kizza says he is destined for Sudan “unless there is a twist”.
According to David Isabirye of KawowoSport, the forward in his mid-twenties, has opted to join El Hilal El Obeid who are parting with millions for his signature.
The player had signed a brief contract with URA in January after being released by South Africa’s Free State Stars.
Kiiza departed Entebbe International Airport in the company of his intermediary and former Uganda Cranes star midfielder Sulaiman Mutyaba, Kawowo said.
And Kizza on Thursday evening admitted he is likely to accept an offer from ambitious Sudanese, currently preparing to play in the CAF Confederation Cup, barring a late change of circumstances.
When asked about the El Hilal El Obeid job, he said: “It is not finalised but it is close to being finalised. If everything goes as planned then I’ll join them, unless there is a twist but definitely I will give my all to my new club.
El Hilal El Obeid will take on Angola’s Clube Recreativo Desportivo Do Libolo at their Estado De Calulu in Luanda on Sunday during their Group C tie.
