Honestly. The pressure. As if it wasn’t enough eating the famed but poorly prepared Luwombo and heavy smoke-filled family lunches in the village to reach perfection at exactly the same moment, now the whole of Uganda has an irritating opinion on food preparation, ingredients and of course, local brew. And the you’ve got New Year or ‘Olusoka Omwaka’. Add spending on long-lost relatives, end of year exhaustion, the wrong presents and too much alcohol and honestly, it’s time to keep in Kampala or head there if possible. The good news is that Forest Cottages, a luxury hotel located in Naguru Hill in the Bukoto area of Kampala is ready for you and geared up to entertain you or not, as you wish. All you have to do is pack, go, and do exactly what you want for two or three days.
The serene hotel is offering its customers a 15 percent discount on some of its accommodation facilities this Christmas season. The hotel which won the traveler’s choice award during the Jumia Travel Awards recently is cutting the price of a meal on Christmas eve and Christmas day.

Macchar revealed that one of the three offers available at the moment is one where customers are entitled to a 15 percent discount.
“The festive season has already started; anyone can book for accommodation from now onwards till 15th January,” Macchar told TheUgandan. This offer comes with breakfast in the morning.
