Express FC acting head coach Wasswa Bbosa bemoaned mistakes from his side as his team counted the cost and gave up a lead to draw 3-3 away at Kavumba Recreational Grounds in the Uganda Premier League on Friday.

Allan Kyambadde, grabbed a brace, and Simon Sserunkuma netted for the Red Eagles on their way to the biggest away success to cancel out Osman Mutumba and Rahmat Senfuka’s goals for Police but the visitors’ lead didn’t last long before Hood Kaweesa scored for Police.

“We made some really amateurish mistakes and that cost us. It was a disappointing game,” said Wasswa on Saturday after the team had headed home with a single point.

“We did try to change it around and go back to our normal formation but we were let down by individual efforts.”

The result moved Express only one place up to sixth with 13 points while the Cops continue relinquishing second from the bottom on seven.
