Ethiopian PM Hailemariam Desalegn will be in Uganda for a four-day state visit at the invitation of President Museveni, starting March 2.
The heads of state are expected to discuss follow-up reports on the situation in South Sudan and the security situation in Somalia and South Sudan among other issues.
According to a draft communiqué of the meeting, the leaders will also call for an establishment of an economic recovery fund for the war-torn countries supported by regional governments and the international community to help them recover.
Desalegn previously served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs under Prime Minister Meles Zenawi from 2010 to 2012.
