Over the weekend the Uganda people’s defence forces arrested various members of the Boda Boda 2010 gang including its powerful patron Abdallah Kitatta in connection with Case Clinic accountant Francis Ekalungar murder.
Mr. Ekalungar was killed and burnt to ashes by unknown people, and robbed of 15 million shillings belong to his employer – Case Medical Center’s Chief Executive officer Dr Kato Ssebale (pictured above).
On Monday, Police spokesman Emilian Kayima revealed that Dr Ssebale was barred from traveling abroad following the arrest of his driver who is being investigated for his alleged involvement in the murder of a member of staff.
But, TheUgandan has found out that Dr Kato Ssebale actually left Kampala thsi week even after Police announcing that he was not allowed to leave the country.
Dr. Kato’s driver Mawa Muzamiru in connection with the Murder of the medical facility’s accountant. Sources are Police say the hospital owner was being watched as well over a possible collision in the incident.
According to a source, Dr. Kato is taking off the heat in the United Arab Emirates where he sneaked out to on Monday, 22.
His trip abroad has been confirmed by the Case Hospital managing director, Dr Patrick Kaliika as true but management acknowledges that their boss will be away until the end of the month.
“Our chief executive officer (Dr Kato Ssebale) is neither under arrest nor being watched by the Police in connection to the murder of one of us but left the country this week for UAE,” Dr Kaliika responded.
Dr Sebbaale, who is a consultant physician, laparoscopic surgeon and gastroenterologist and one of Kampala’s richest men.
About 28 people including the patron of the notorious Boda Boda 2010 association, Abdullah Kitatta and his brother, Huzairu Kiwalabye are in the custody of the Chieftaincy of Military intelligence following their arrest at the weekend over Ekalungar’s murder.
