Local economic giant, dfcu Bank is today launching a new campaign dubbed “Battle for Cash.”
The campaign will target Investment Clubs with the objective of empowering them with Business Enterprise Skills. The campaign will run for six months and give each participating club the chance to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges who will eventually select the winning club.
The Development Finance Company of Uganda Group commonly referred to as dfcu limited, is the holding company and it is listed on the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE), under the symbol dfcu.
dfcu Bank in January bought Crane Bank after three months of being under Bank of Uganda. Crane Bank’s liquidity declined due to non-performing loans.
Mr. Juma Kisaame is the managing director of dfcu, Uganda’s second largest bank with assets of about Shs3.5 trillion. Only Stanbic Bank Uganda has more assets.
