For a man in a new job, Uganda Cranes head coach Sébastien Desabre is looking for answers that deluded his predecessor.

After disgracefully being dumped out the ongoing the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco, the Frenchmen says there must be a problem why the team has failed to qualify for the knock- out stage of the continental showpiece in four different editions.

“I have evaluated my players. I want to win every match as a coach. We have not qualified from group stages for 4 editions now. There must be a problem. My job is to find a solution,” said the coach after the match.

In the CHAN tournament Uganda B has also lost two games. They fell 3-1 to Zambia in the opening match and were beaten 1-0 by lowly ranked Namibia last night which meant newly appointed head coach  Desbare’s team is out of the tournament before they face Ivory Coast in the last group game.

Uganda: Watenga, Wadada, Awany, Muwanga, Muleme, Mutyaba (Batte 85’), Lwanga, Sadam (Mucurezi 56’), Karisa, Nsibambi, Kyambadde (Senkatuka 75’)

Namibia: Kazapua, Ngaruka, Hambira, Karongee, Hanamub, Ilmbondi, Fredericks, Ketjijere, Shitembi (Katjiteo 87’), Theophilus (Nekundi 58’), Somaeb (Keimuine 46’)

Mazamiru Mutyaba challenged by Namibia’s Himeekua Ketjijere as the South Africans once again scored a winner right at the death to overcome Uganda 1-0 in their 2018 African Nations Championship Group B clash in Marrakech on Thursday night.
