Students at Makerere University and Law Development center LDC are in grief after one of the Law student finalists was crashed in a hit and run accident.

The deceased Abel Nuwabine died on Sunday after a Saturday hit and run accident that happened around Polylydia Hostel in Nakulabye.

According to friends, Abel was rushed to Mulago Hospital after the fatal accident and while there, the doctors assigned to him negligently refused to attend to him leading to his demise.

“What is more hurting is that Abel died just a day to his Final Exams at LDC. Death robbed him of a chance to sit the exams he has been toiling for the whole year and which would climax his days at LDC and bridge his way to advocacy.” One of his friends said.

Nuwabine who hails from Western Uganda District of Kamwengye completed his Bachelor’s Degree from Makerere University before heading to Law Development for a two year course to become an advocate.

By press time police could not be reached for a comment.
