Court releases on bail all the 19 Kaweesi murder suspects

KAWEESI MURDER: Amama Mbabazi to be investigated

Nakawa Magistrates court has released on bail all the 19 suspects who are on  charges of murdering former AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi, his body guard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambewa.

The 19 suspects will be out on bail pending committal to the Highcourt  to stand trial on charges of murder , Terrorsim and aggrevated robbery.

Today grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi has granted bail to the last 3 suspects; Ali Mugoya , Hibwangi Sinani and Yusuf Ahmed  by ordering them to  each  pay cash of shs 500, 000 and their surities to each execute a non-cash bond of  shs 500m.

However there is another batch of 8 Kaweesi murder suspects who were last  year committed to the International Crimes Division Court and are currently  on  remand at Luzira prison awaiting trial in  the next  convenient session of the court.
