Celebrating Uganda’s TOP DJs from the 2017 #UgMixMaestro

The #UgMixMaestro organised by the DJs Association of Uganda (DJAU) and Flex Events as a DJ led entertainment campaign to recognise & reward DJs in the industry while encouraging professional Deejaying recently crowned the top disk spinners.

On Saturday 14th  October 2017 at the plush Golf Course hotel the Maestro brought together entertainment professionals, Artists, Music producers and of-course DJs from all walks of life; Young, professional, experienced, industry leaders for an awards ceremony.

The best DJ in each category was crowned sponsored by Uganda Waragi which campaign traversed the country in search for the best Male and Female Battle DJ while entertaining fans that love to enjoy a good time.

Commending all participants for the input, effort, skills and technique the organizers congratulate the winners in all categories as below;

Best Radio DJ —— DJ Nimrod

Best TV DJ ——– Selector Jay

Best Events DJ —– Moustey DJ

Best Night Life DJ — DJ Roja & Slick Stuart

Best Gospel DJ —– Easy Samuel

Best Female Battle DJ- DJ Xzyl

Best Male Battle DJ –DJ shan

Outstanding Achievement Award – Charlie Lubega

Each DJ presented with an accolade and cash prize worth One Million shillings in every category and the Male & Female battle Djs rewarded with brand new Deno DJ controllers for their championship the Association is convinced that the journey to unite and grow the professional Deejaying has only just began.

“In high spirits we are looking forward to revolutionising the industry and an internationally recognised DJ Award campaign in 2018 and the years to come,” the organisers said.
