State House to spend Shs550 million everyday starting July 1st when new financial year starts. Its total budget is Shs233.2bn, media reports quote Parliament.
According to the ministerial policy statement signed by the Minister for Presidency, Esther Mbayo, State House needs a total of UShs233.228 billion for its different activities in the second year of President Museveni’s latest term of office.
Shs 4.707bn has been budgeted for welfare and entertainment among others that have been criticized by MPs.
