Arsenal, Manchester United supporters survive death in Kasese gunfire

New revelations from Buhanika Royal palace that was also torched during the assault by the army and police before King Charles Wesley Mumbere was picked up have emerged.

Premier league soccer fans who had stormed different Pubs and video halls in Kasese town to catch the match between Arsenal and Bournemouth, which ended 3-1 in favor of the gunners. However, their fun was cut short when sporadic shooting resumed minutes to the kickoff of the Manchester United Vs Westham United match. According to our reporter, shooting resumed as he was approaching White House Hotel gardens at about 7:30pm.

The shooting prompted the soccer fans to abandon the match and their drinks and scamper for dear life.

About 56 people were killed during an exchange with UPDF soldiers. According to Mansur Suwed, the Rwenzori East Police Spokesperson, 139 royal guards were also arrested and are detained at Kasese Police Station.

Several items were also recovered at the palace. They include sixteen patrol bombs, 42 knives, three metal detectors, one SMG rifle, and one pistol with two magazines. Others include four radio calls and 47 pangas.
