In a series of unresolved murders in Wakiso District, the 23rd body of a woman has on Wednesday been found in a banana garden, Police said.
Sarah Neliima a 22 year old, a resident of Kakindu – Kawuku had retired home at about 9pm, according to her workmates from Friends Restaurants and Take Away near Mango Sports Bar in Katabi Town Council.
Her body hours later lay lifeless in a banana garden about 70 metres from the Entebbe-Kampala Road.
Police are still trying to figure out the mystery, and have linked the killings to ritual murders.
Police Spokesperson, Mr Asan Kasingye while visiting the crime scene said his boss IGP Kale Kayihura is going to camp in Katabi to find answers.
The shocking bodies of young women have kept piling since May and Police are on the spot to bring those responsible to justice.
The government has defended the Police, who earlier this month said they had arrested 30 suspects and charged 13 of them, listing possible motives including domestic rows.
There is fear and panic with alleged reports of a serial killer on the loose.
