Musician Allan Toniks has revealed that he suffered an illness that almost ended his musical career. The Beera nange music star had made a name in the Ugandan music industry by producing a number of hits including Mulamwa, Beera Nange ,Mu ngatto, that Girl among others rose to fame in 2008 but his career reached the peak around 2010. It was around this time that his songs were household anthems. He also recorded collabos with Radio & Weasel, Navio, OS Suuna, Raba Daba among others.

However, all was not rosy as he ran out of musical ideas and started re-doing old songs before he completely went silent in 2016, sending his fans into speculation.

Well, the RnB star revealed on a local radio station that 2016 almost ended his musical career after he suffered a strange illness.

“My health was not in good shape, I had a lung problem that necessitated an operation and that kept me down for some time, I couldn’t perform, because it would affect my breathing system since I was still on medication,” he said.

Getting back

He however said that he now feels much better and 2017 is going to be a good one.

“Am back to my music and my fans should expect the best of me this year,” said Toniks.

Asked about his relationship, the singer said that he is a single man whose only focus is his musical career.

“I am not in any relationship, I’m single and only married to my music,” he said.

He is now looking at making collabos with the likes of   Ykee Benda, Nutty Neithan, and others artists like Sheebah who are enjoying a good career moment.
