Minister of Education and Sports, also First Lady, Janet Kataha Museveni has released the results of the 640, 860 pupils who sat for last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) results last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
It is a first for UNEB executive secretary Mr Daniel Odongo and her political boss Ms Museveni releases since both being appointed last year.
A total of 640,860 candidates registered for the UNEB exams last November with 488,323 of the pupils enrolled on the government’s universal primary education (UPE) scheme.
UNEB has also completed marking Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams and the results are expected out any time.
The marking of the Senior six exams started on January 2.
