Four days after President Museveni officially re-opened Makerere University following two months of closure, the institution’s management has released its full semester one schedule.
The university Vice Chancellor, Prof John Dumba Ssentamu, says that after classes resuming on 2nd January 2017, management have planned for students to have a residential break of one week from Monday 20th to Sunday 26th February.
In a statement dated December 28th, Prof. Ddumba says that; “Lectures will resume immediately and end on Sunday 29th January 2016.”
Prof Ssentamu, says the teaching staff must submit the students’ examination results by 16th January 2017. Examinations will start on Monday 30th January and end on Sunday, February 29th 2017
Makerere also set 21- 24th February 2017 for the 67th graduation ceremony.
