Uganda Cranes’ have gotten a massive financial boast into Saturday’s second Fifa WC qualifier against Congo Brazzaville.
Norah Nassimbwa, President Museveni’s personal secretary in charge of sports will give each of them the promised $10000 (Shs33m) totalling to $ 300,000promised to them by Fufa boss Moses Magogo for qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations a afew months ago.
This was revealed on Thursday during a Cranes’ state luncheon hosted by Mr. Museveni who vowed to clear all the outstanding allowances owed by the local football governing body.
The unpaid bonuses had raised a big concern to football stakeholders in the country ahead of this weekend’s must-win Namboole game.
