Uganda’s business magnet Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has backed Capt Mike Mukula for the post of NRM Vice Chairman for Eastern region.
Mukula will be battling politically struggling former MP Tororo municipality Hon Sanjay Tanna.
Dr. Ruparelia told this website that he is fully behind Capt. Mukula to continue with the party leadership at both regional and national level.

Meanwhile top mobilizers for Hon Sanjay Tanna today dumped him and joined Mike Mukula’s camp.
The group headed by a one Komakech on Saturday denounced Sanjay during today’s meeting with national NRM leaders at Hotel Africana. The group also pledged to rally support for the incumbent Mukula who is Teso kingpin.
Tanna now reportedly only banks on Emmy Mitala, the Deputy RDC for Mayuge district as his single mobilizer
