Victoria University Kampala recently announced that businessman Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia will now sponsor students joining by paying 30 percent of the tuitions through a scholarship grant.
The Dr Sudhir Ruparelia Scholarship Grant, which became operational this semester, is targeting Ugandan candidates between the age of 18 and 35 years with good matric results.
The candidate must also portray positive attitude, provide references, willing to give back to the community and able to maintain a GPA of minimum 3.5 throughout the program.
The application process includes filling and submitting an online or offline application and filling the Scholarship form to show interest and confirm that you fulfill the criteria. Thereafter, after reviewing your application, the scholarship committee will offer the scholarship to successful candidates.
Victoria University located at Jinja Road in Kampala city is owned by Ruparelia Group. It is fully registered by Uganda National Council for Higher Education. Dr. Sudhir has a significant business establishment in the education sector.
He also owns Kampala Parent’s School, Delhi Public International School and Kampala International School Uganda. He also has business in the hotel sector, agriculture, financial services, a radio station and real estate.
