Uganda Baati opens eighth showroom

Uganda Baati opens eighth showroom

Uganda Baati have announced that they opened an all-new showroom in along Entebbe Road in Kampala.

The Entebbe Road showroom and sales office at Paka Complex,in Zana townshowroom is the eighth in the country. Other Uganda Baati showrooms are in the districts of; Mukono, Fort Portal, Mbarara, Lira, Arua,  Mbale and Jinja.

During the opening ceremony, the Uganda Baati Board Chairman, Dr. Alan Shonubi said, “Costs of construction have augmented across the sector, with a direct bearing on the final customer. We have therefore brought our products and solutions closer to our customers along Entebbe Road for their convenience.”

He added that, “As the market leader in innovation in this sector, we are happy to be first company to start the showroom concept. We believe that the showroom will help spur the growth of our brands which have remarkable market traction.”

Uganda Baati’s Business Head Mr. George Arodi, said, “The opening of this showroom is one of the many yet to come as we increase our footprint across the country and serve more Ugandans with quality products from Uganda Baati. We envisage additional job creation of over 100 graduates from this initiative across Uganda.”

Uganda Baati was founded in 1964 and is majority owned by the Safal Investments – domiciled in Mauritius – and the trustees of the Chandaria Family.

The Safal Group operates in 12 countries producing steel roofing and Aluminium Zinc coated steel. Uganda Baati is one of its subsidiaries.
