“We expect to be the top paint brand in 2018” says Sadolin’s Deon Nieuwoudt

“We expect to be the top paint brand in 2018” says Sadolin’s Deon Nieuwoudt

“Are splashing more million dollars to find your back onto the top in the Ugandan market,” Deon Nieuwoudt, the planning and execution manager at the Dutch based AkzoNobel Coatings International BV, which owns the Sadolin brand name in Uganda was asked after spending Shs50 million in the just concluded Uganda Society of Architects Annual General Meeting (AGM).

“We have managed AkzoNobel in a cradle-to-grave methodology,” he responded to journalists at t he event held at the Pearl of Africa Hotel, Kampala on Friday. “Our brand enforces high level of professionalism, quality and global best practices.”

The Dutchman says they are having good partners in regional paint maker, Crown Paints East Africa, who manufacture and sell Sadolin Paint on AkzoNobel’s behalf.

“Sadolin will continue to supply Ugandans with the global standard quality paint it has provided over the decades.”

“This is the second month and our competitors have been in market but we have a structured plan of growing further.

“We are manufacturing products in a responsible way, manufacturing with the right materials and manufacture in a way not to harm the environment.

He pointed out that the that Sadolin Uganda Limited is keen on construction sector thus injected Shs 50 million in the Architects’ annual meet.

“We believe the construction industry is important for us and we have the credentials to make a big impact on the sector as a whole.”

“Uganda’s number one paint brand and once again assure our customers that the brand they love is here to stay. We will offer global standard quality paint that the Ugandan people can enjoy as we get ready to open the US$3 million investment in a new paint plant in Namanve industrial Park.”

“At full operation capacity, all product range and services on the market, we shall be unstoppable in 2018.”
