A team of detectives are sweeping the home of Kyadondo East MP Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine in Magere, Wakiso District after blasts on Tuesday morning reportedly a hurled at his house targeting his son’s bedroom
Bobi Wine is among the faces who have been looked at to be one of the faces of the red robin campaign opposed to the proposed scrapping of article 102 (b) of the Constitution.
“Yesterday three explosive devices were thrown at my house and this has thrown a wave of fear through my family but it will not change my resolve to stand for what I believe in,” Bobi Wine revealed.
The grenade was thrown a few meters outside the bedroom of his children, the legislator said adding that three days ago similar blasts happened outside his home and he informed police but not much was done.
“So far the Police are telling us that the three devices that were thrown at our house are handmade grenades. This has thrown a wave of fear through my family, the kids and my wife are very scared,” Bobi said.
Police officers have as well cordoned off the home of Allan Sssewanyana in Makindye over a similar incident.
Last week on Thursday, Rubaga North Member of Parliament Moses Kasibante also reported that yet to be identified people broke into his house using explosives.
