At least 11 people have been confirmed dead and several others injured in a car accident along Kampala-Masaka highway, Police said.
The accident is said to have occured at about 9pm when a Fuso truck collided with a Coaster near River Katonga bridge in Mpigi District.
Police said that the lorry registration number UAG 970P lost control and rammed into coaster bus number T540DLC.
But they are yet to confirm the number of the victims of the accident but TheUgandan understands that three critically injured people were rushed to the nearby Nkozi Hospital for treatment.
