Uganda’s Post Bank has opened opened its 40th branch at Lia Street in Moroto on Thursday.
Post Bank has been operating through mobile banking in Karamoja since 2008, serving majorly the Uganda People’s Defence Forces.
Hon. Ajedra Gabriel Gadison Aridru the state minister for finance (General duties) who inaugurated the branch as the chief guest, said hat with the friendly charges, Karamoja would go a long way in economic empowerment with Post Bank.
Stephen Mukweli, the managing director Post Bank Uganda and Andrew Keem Napaja, the Moroto district chairperson attended the inaugural ceremony.
A good number of respectable persons, local elite and businessmen were also present on the occasion.
