Fallen businessman Ivan Ssemwanga’s Uncle Herbert Luyinda is incensed after discoveries on his trip to South Africa.
A family source says Mr. Luyinda was on last Sunday and Monday awestruck after finding out that Ssemwanga’s former wife Zari Hassan had sold off some of the deceased’s assets after convening a family meeting at the Waterkloof home in Pretoria. He had jetted out a on the same day Zari’s mother was being buried at Busunju but on finding out that Luyinda has headed south, the mother of five also immediately traveled to South Africa to confront her father-in-law and that is where the big fight happened.
Mr. Luyinda’s reaction was instigated and fueled by the late Ssemwanga’s best friend and business partner King Lawrence during a family meeting where Semwanga’s brothers agreed to stop Zari from having sole control of the late’s schools or else their nephews’ future is doomed.
Luyinda once told journalists that Ssemwanga’s children will be taken for DNA tests to prove they belonged to him, raising dust among family members.
“As a family, we have no doubt that Zari is the cause of Ivan’s suffering that led him to die. Ever since the two separated, Ivan has never been the same. Our son loved that woman so much. He took care of her in all situations but Zari with her bad manners decided to dump him for Diamond. This dis-organised him so much. He started developing hardships in his heath” Luyinda was quoted saying.
“He has been telling me all that happens in his life. But every time he would come to confide in me, Zari’s name wouldn’t miss. She treated Ivan badly.” Herbert narrated.
Semwanga’s family believe Zari has no claim to the deceased’s empire especially that she fled with Tanzanian singer Diamond.
