Archbishop Stanley Ntagali of the Church of Uganda has said that one of his predecessors, Anglican Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyooyo has returned from London, where he had gone for treatment.
He came aboard Emirates, accompanied by his wife, Ruth Nkoyooyo and a thanksgiving service has been arranged for him Thursday evening at Namirembe Cathedral.
The retired archbishop has complications with his lungs but sources within the church told TheUgandan that the retired archbishop has been receiving chemotherapy.

His son, Isaac Nkoyooyo, a resident of West London, half a year ago contacted Ugandans living in the UK also reaching out to international charity organisations to contribute towards the cause.
The cause fetched 105 million Shillings and also President Yoweri Museveni contributed 82 million. With these contributions, the church stated that the remaining bills would be catered for with different dioceses fundraising for the cause.
