Uganda’s enterprising developers and innovators have Thursday entered the final stage of the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) backed Transport Management Hackathon.
The two-day event part of UCC’s annual innovation awards (ACIA) alongside ResilientAfrica Network (Secretariat hosted by Makerere University College of Health Sciences School of Public Health seeks to find solutions for safe transport management.
“Today, there is final pitching for those solutions that will transform the transport sector in Uganda and beyond,” RAN Communications Manager, Harriet Adong said on Thursday.

Nine groups are pitching for the best ideas from which the Judges shall pick two best ideas at the end of the day, the best innovators walking away with $1,000 each.
