Derrick Nsimbabi scored a solitary goal as Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club closed in on the Azam Uganda Premier League title by beating Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos on Tuesday.

At Matugga, Bright Stars held visitors Vipers to a goalless draw which put a halt to the Venoms three game winning streak.
Miguel Duarte’s side stay 3rd on the table with 46 points while Bright Stars are now 9th with 30 points, same as Police in 10th but the former have a better goal difference
