Four candidates battling for the Toroma County Member of Parliament seat have been nominated.
The seat fell in March after the passing on of Cyrus Amodoi who died in an accident involving three vehicles in Kitigoma in Buikwe district on the Jinja-Kampala highway in March.
NRM flag bearer, Joseph Andrew Koluo, 49, was the first candidate to be nominated at 11 am on Tuesday followed by Mr Robert Imalingat, 25, an independent candidate who is a nephew to the late Amodoi.
Others nominated were Uganda Peoples Congress party flag bearer, Mr.Andrew Joseph Omiat and Mr Solomon Ossiya, an independent.
