Jolly Kaguhangire has today been introduced to Uganda Investment Authority (UIA) employees as the new boss, bringing an end to months of search for the agency’s new executive director.
Since Dr. Frank Ssebowa left last year after serving the investment body for about six-years, the board had struggled to find a replacement, culminating into a power struggle, which has negatively impacted the image and operations of UIA.
Ms Kaguhangire, who the UIA board led by Emely Kugonza appointed to the top office of the investment authority three weeks ago, boosts of over 23 years of vast experience in revenue administration with 12 years at Middle and Senior Management level with Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
