The family of one Ruth Nabuguzi who allegedly forged letters of administration and a death certificate of her father before selling off property worth millions at Buziga and Luweero have approached Interpol Uganda to help them bring her home to face the Law.
Former director of Interpol Uganda, now Police PRO Asan Kasingye told TheUgandan that the family approached his him recently over the matter.
“Interpol are trying to investigate the matter and I cannot tell you much but the family approached my office,” Kasingye said.
The 49-year woman is reported to be living a lavish life in the United Kingdom after selling off family property worth millions.
Jonathan Kasirye, Nabuguzi’s brother said they fear she might sneak into the country and sell off more property to unsuspecting buyers.
“She probably needs a lot of money to finance her lavish lifestyle with her girlfriends but she is doing so at family’s expense and we will not suffer because of her,” said Kasirye.
Van Blom Debry, a Danish national who bought two houses from Nabuguzi located at Buziga told our reporter that his lawyer will handle any eventualities.
“My Lawyer transacted the business on my behalf and if there are complaints, he will handle,” Blom said.
He refused to disclose his lawyer saying anyone complaining should approach Police or Court.
TheUgandan could not reach Nabuguzi for a comment as her known numbers provided by the family were unreachable.
